Vision
The vision of Saint Harkewal Shiksha Mahavidyalaya, Ambikapur is to develop competent, sensitive, and value-oriented teachers who possess knowledge, skills, and humanity, and who can contribute meaningfully to the educational development of the society and the nation. The college aims to evolve as an excellent teacher education institution where quality teacher training is integrated with innovation, technology, and human values.
Mission
The key objectives and mission of Saint Harkewal Shiksha Mahavidyalaya, Ambikapur are as follows:
1. To conduct the B.Ed (Secondary Teacher Education Programme) and prepare qualified and trained teachers for secondary and higher secondary colleges across Chhattisgarh and the entire nation.
2. To promote 21st-century learning needs by integrating modern teaching-learning methods, instructional videos, digital resources, and technology-based teacher training.
3. To provide value-based and quality teacher education that nurtures moral, sensitive, disciplined, and socially responsible teachers.
4. To offer in-service training programmes for teachers working in government and non-government colleges, enabling them to stay updated with new educational developments and requirements.
5. To effectively undertake other assigned academic and administrative responsibilities related to teacher education.
6. To develop the institution into a fully established and advanced Shiksha Mahavidyalaya, Ambikapur, capable of successfully conducting B.Ed, D.El.Ed, and M.Ed programmes in the future.
